Who WE ARE
DZL is a hard rock cover band based in Naperville, and our mission is to bring a rocking good time to the party.
We have an arsenal of high-energy, hard rock tunes to get people moving and grooving. We don’t play any shoe-gazer stuff. We like to play hard and loud and keep the party going.
John
Guitar/Vocals
A true axe-man, 18-wheel gear jammer, former Marine, and seasoned rocker who has traveled the world, John is the man with the vision. A commanding presence on guitar and vocals, John is the founder of DZL.
Sean
Guitar/Vocals
Our resident gear-head. When he’s not restoring a classic car or indulging one of his myriad hobbies, you’ll find Sean prowling around the fretboard. Equally comfortable on rhythm or lead, Sean brings a wicked playing style and shares lead vocal duty.
Jed
Bass/Vocals
Listen to a story ’bout a bass player who forms 1/2 of our rock-solid rhythm section. He’s goofy, yes, and not nearly as funny or as charming as he thinks. But he can play a mean bass and pitches in on backing vocals.
